Memecylon (lat. memecylon umbellatum), also known as ironwood tree, is an Asian tree found in some locations across Seychelles, e.g. it is introduced in the National Botanical Garden of Seychelles. It tiny blue flower buds grow numerously along branches and bloom in late winter.
